When registering vehicles, the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will check for the application of sanctions.

Resolution No. 744 of June 25, 2024, introduces changes to paragraph 15 of the Procedure for State Registration (Re-registration) and Deregistration of Cars, Buses, Self-Propelled Machines on Car Chassis, Motorcycles of All Types, Brands and Models, Trailers, Semi-Trailers, Motor Carriages, Other Equivalent Vehicles, and Mopeds. It provides for a mandatory check of the data of persons applying to the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for services, according to the State Sanctions Register. It is established that if sanctions are found to have been applied to individuals or legal entities who have applied for state registration (re-registration) or deregistration of vehicles (including in connection with the scrapping (decommissioning) of a vehicle), an authorized person at the Ministry of Internal Affairs service center will refuse to perform such actions if they lead to violations of the restrictions or prohibitions established by the respective sanction.
