Ukraine officially launches business protection platform
On 2 September, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko presented the StopTysk (“StopPressure”) portal, which has now been officially launched.
This digital tool has been created as part of the state policy to protect businesses from unlawful interference in economic activities by law enforcement authorities. The portal allows company executives to report cases of pressure, undergo verification and classification procedures, and ensures systematic response to such incidents. Information submitted through the portal will be used to verify reports, initiate investigations, and hold those responsible accountable in accordance with Ukrainian law.
According to Prosecutor General Kravchenko, StopTysk will serve as a platform for cooperation between the prosecutor’s office, the business community, and lawyers in addressing systemic issues and protecting law-abiding entrepreneurs:
“StopTysk is a logical continuation of our efforts to protect honest business. As soon as I was appointed Prosecutor General, we conducted a quantitative audit of criminal proceedings against businesses — there were almost 23,000. The next step was a qualitative audit, and as a result, nearly one third of them (over 7,500 cases) with no judicial prospects have already been closed,” he said.
Regional prosecutors are also actively carrying out this work locally.
How the StopTysk portal works:
- Authorization via Diia;
- Detailed description of the incident — actions of officials, circumstances, date, consequences;
- Uploading documents, photos, or other evidence (if available);
- Automatic registration of the complaint, recording of all facts, and reflection on the dashboard;
- Review and response within the statutory timeframe under the control of the Prosecutor General’s Office;
- Prompt adoption of managerial and procedural decisions and provision of continuous feedback to businesses.
