Sweden, Norway, and Finland have announced a contribution of €21.5 million to the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership (E5P) fund. These funds will be directed to support critical municipal infrastructure and ecological investments in Ukraine, as reported by the Ministry of Infrastructure.

According to Deputy Minister Alexander Butenko, energy efficiency in the restoration of such facilities is crucial to bring them in line with European standards and ensure more economical energy use. Currently, the E5P fund in Ukraine has accumulated €210 million. E5P is a multi-donor fund aimed at encouraging investments in energy-efficient and ecological projects in the Eastern Partnership region.

Additionally, during COP28, G7+ countries, along with Ukraine, launched the Clean Energy Partnership for sustainable recovery and reconstruction of the country's energy system. This partnership brings together the government of Ukraine, bilateral donors, key international organizations, financial institutions, and representatives of the private sector.
