Possibility to open bank accounts for E-residents
On March 8, the resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine "On Approval of Changes to the Instructions on the Procedure for Opening and Closing Accounts for Users by Providers of Payment Services for Account Maintenance" entered into force.
The changes, in particular, give electronic residents the right to open current accounts in the bank for business activities. And if the bank receives information about the termination of the business activity of the e-resident, it closes the current accounts of the e-resident.
The remaining funds from the accounts are transferred to his own account opened outside of Ukraine, the details of which are specified in the contract.
