Military goods will not be subject to export control

On the 9th of December 2022 the Cabinet of Ministers agreed upon a list of military and dual-purpose goods that will be exempted from the state export control.

The purpose of such a decision is to accelerate the provision of personal protective equipment for the military at the front and the import of dual-purpose goods used to protect the civilian population.

The list includes:

  • metallic and non-metallic armored plates manufactured in accordance with military standards or suitable for military use (item numbers ML13.a.1, ML13.a.2);
  • helmets manufactured in accordance with military standards, helmet frames, cushioning pads (item ML13.c);
  • body armor or protective clothing, in particular soft body armor or protective clothing, manufactured according to military standards or technical conditions, their equivalents, as well as specially designed components, plates for hard body armor (items ML13.d.1, ML13.d.2);
  • protective suits, gloves, footwear, specially designed or modified for protection against impact factors (items 1A004.b.1, 1A004.b.2, 1A004.b.3), etc.
