Increase of guarantee contributions at e-auctions of special permits for the use of subsoil

The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On Amendments to Clause 16 of the Procedure for Conducting Auctions for the Sale of Special Subsoil Use Permits" entered into force on March 24.

The resolution establishes that the size of the guarantee fee is 20 percent of the initial price of the lot, but not less than:

10 million UAH for minerals that are of strategic importance for the sustainable development of the economy and the defense capability of the state,
20 million UAH for hydrocarbons,
2 million UAH for deposits and/or subsoil areas containing sand,
1 million UAH for other minerals (except the lot for the sale of a special permit for geological study, including research and industrial development, extraction of underground water (including mineral) for all needs).
