Changes in labour relations for the perid of martial law

The Law of Ukraine "On the Organization of Labour Relations in the Conditions of Martial Law" of 24 March 2022 introduced changes that adapted the labour legislation in accordance with the conditions of martial law. The most important changes include: the number of working hours cannot exceed 60 hours per week; employees are given the right to resign on their own initiative without observing a two-week warning period in connection with the conduct of hostilities in the areas where the enterprise is located, etc.

Due to martial law most enterprises are trying to quickly repurpose themselves to meet the needs of the country, so the issue of changing KVEDs (classification of types of economic activity) becomes more urgent. From 30 March 2022, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine ensured the most urgent registration actions. First of all, these changes made it possible to change the KVED.

On 20 March 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted Resolution No. 330 which introduced the possibility of importing most goods in a simplified way. The basis is the submission of a preliminary customs declaration.
