Strengthening liability for copyright infringement

On the 6th of October the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the draft law "On Amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, the Criminal Code of Ukraine and the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine on Liability for Violation of Copyright and (or) Related Rights." The draft law was proposed to address some issues of copyright protection.
The draft law "On Consumer Rights Protection" was supported in the first reading

Draft Law No. 6134 "On Consumer Rights Protection" was developed with the aim of approximating the national legislation on the protection of consumer rights to the legislation of the European Union. Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported this government initiative and approved the draft law in the first reading on the 6th of October.

From the 26th of September 2022 a new procedure for conducting and signing of the protocols of general meetings of members of a limited liability company and a company with additional liability will apply - in accordance with the amendments to the Law "On Limited and Additional Liability Companies".
