Partial resumption of customs inspections from May 1st

On March 20th, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in full draft law No. 9456 amending the Customs Code of Ukraine regarding the customs clearance of biomethane. The text of the draft law also includes an amendment regarding the resumption of customs inspections.
Excise tax rates on wines and fuel will increase

The Government, at its meeting on March 22nd, approved a draft law proposing a gradual increase in excise tax rates for wines and fuel, bringing them closer to the minimum level set by the EU.

The President signed the law on stock market reform

On March 25th, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed bill No. 5865, which envisages the reform of the capital market and strengthens the powers of its regulator, the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.
The State Tax Service will inform about a tax debt

As announced by the State Tax Service press service, starting from March 25th, the State Tax Service will launch a pilot project to inform taxpayers (Unified Social Contribution payers) about their tax debt.
