Changes to the functioning of the National Qualifications System have come into force.

On July 14, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated July 8, 2026 No. 894 “On Amendments to Certain Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on Improving the Functioning of the National Qualifications System” came into force.

The application of disciplinary liability to employees who perform work remotely requires the employer to take a particularly careful approach to determining the nature of the violation. The Supreme Court, as a panel of judges of the First Judicial Chamber of the Civil Court of Cassation, considered case No. 538/1991/23 (decision of 08.07.2026) regarding the dismissal for absenteeism of the CEO who worked remotely.
Securing a claim under martial law: what restrictions remain in force?

The mechanism for securing a claim is intended to preserve the disputed property and ensure the possibility of actual execution of a future court decision. At the same time, the court cannot apply such measures contrary to the special restrictions provided for by the legislation on property forcibly alienated for the needs of the state under martial law.
Deferral from mobilization can be reissued without losing the current status.

On August 2, 2026, Law No. 4851-IX “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Mandatory State Pension Insurance” regarding confirmation of insurance experience” entered into force, with the exception of certain provisions thereof. The document significantly changes the approach to the interaction of citizens with the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
